G.E.M. (Guiding Excellence in Management) Recognition Awards

What Are They?

The G.E.M. Awards recognize the individual efforts of our CAAM®-certified managers, CAASPâ„¢ support professionals and outstanding Affiliate Partners who have made a contribution above and beyond the normal course of their duties to their association clients, company and AACM.

There are a total of eight (8) Award categories available this year:

• Manager of the Year Award
• Humanitarian Award
• Rising G.E.M Award

Recognition is awarded in the three (3) categories listed above for both Level I (management of community with less than 300 units) and Level II (management of community with more than 300 units)

• CAASPâ„¢ - Excellence in Service Award
• O.P.A.L. (Outstanding Partner Affiliate Leader) Company Award

Who Can Submit Nominations?

Any AACM Member, employee of a Member in good standing, Affiliate Partner, Association Board Member client of the Member, peer and/or colleague may submit G.E.M. Award applications in any categories. Multiple nominations will be accepted for CAAM® or CAASPâ„¢ categories. AACM employees are not eligible to submit nominees or participate in judging.
 
NOTE:  If a manager is a finalist for more than one category, the manager/management company will be contacted to determine which category best represents the nominee.

When is the Deadline?

The deadline to submit nomination packages is 5:00pm, Friday, July 8, 2011. Entries must either be received in the AACM office or postmarked by July 8, 2011.

How Do I Submit a Nomination?

Download the 2011 G.E.M. Award Nomination Packet (below). This will provide detailed guidelines about completion and submission of the nomination.

Download and complete the appropriate G.E.M. Award Nomination Application (below). Choose from the CAAM®, CAASPâ„¢ or O.P.A.L. Nomination Forms.

Handwritten nominations will not be accepted for consideration.
